Job Description

Fitt Talent Partners is a specialized recruitment firm working with top health, fitness, and wellness companies. We're filling this role for a client - A luxury social wellness club focused on holistic health and community.

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, ensuring operational efficiency, member/guest experience, staff retention, and optimal profit. This includes day-to-day staff management, ambassadorship for the brand, and embracing our ethos to support staff, members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility operations and maintain an elite operational standard.
  • Drive the culture within the facility.
  • Lead, oversee, coach, mentor, and develop all levels of employees.
  • Track, report, and hit all KPI goals and metrics.
  • Make impactful financial decisions to positively impact the monthly P&L results.
  • Optimize the member experience and ensure member satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Digital team to develop strategic outreach for securing member referrals.
  • Develop and collaborate with the VP, Club Operations to drive strategic business objectives.
  • Pivot and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Look for ways to improve cost-effectiveness of the club.
  • Build partnerships with other aligned brands and networks to grow our impact.
  • Brainstorm and investigate new opportunities for revenue streams, products, services, and experiences.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of management experience leading teams with a strong work ethic and a track record of motivating staff while ensuring accountability.
  • Extensive experience in the hospitality industry with a deep understanding of unique expectations and preferences of luxury guest service standards.
  • Ability to continuously innovate to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Experience working in health and/or wellness industry preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and practices.
  • Solution-oriented and self-motivated to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain adaptable to drive success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong rapport with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in managing P&L statements, budgeting, and financial forecasting to ensure the club operates efficiently while maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance guest experiences, and drive business insights.
