Manager, Federal Human Capital

KPMG is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Federal Advisory practice as a Manager, Federal Human Capital. This role requires a deep understanding of human capital management, organizational design, and workforce analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client-facing workforce transformation workstreams to support clients in talent development, talent performance, workforce design, and workforce analytics.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver excellent client service, including stakeholder management, meeting/workshop facilitation, deliverable creation, and project/financial management.
  • Drive the creation and advancement of thought leadership, internal and external tools, and resources for workforce transformation efforts.
  • Develop and implement organizational design/assessment strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital, including articles, whitepapers, and methodology guides.
  • Participate in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal responses and client outreach.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience related to human capital (organizational design/assessments).
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; advanced degree in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • Experience designing/leading business transformation initiatives, with a deep understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices in the human capital space.
  • Experience developing/implementing organization assessments and methodologies.
  • Prior work managing a portfolio of activities within a project or team, including setting priorities, balancing competing deadlines, and leading conversations and creating stakeholder engagement with clients and colleagues across an organizational hierarchy.
  • Experience mentoring or managing employees, including annual goal setting, performance reviews, and discussing career development opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to travel to support firm engagements as required.
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
