Job Title: Human Capital Junior Transactions Specialists

Booth Management Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Capital Junior Transactions Specialists to join our team. As a key member of our Human Capital team, you will be responsible for processing personnel actions, ensuring compliance with OPM guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process personnel actions, including inputs and verifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review pre-employment requirements and screen pre-employment forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide input on regulations and signature requirements for Specialists and Assistants.
  • Calculate necessary service computation dates in accordance with OPM processing.
  • Types personnel forms and reports.
  • Determine benefits eligibility creditable service and follow up on suspense actions.
  • Process all documents associated with inputting SF-52s and SF-50s.
  • Ensure documents comply with OPM guidelines and are correct.
  • Review personnel actions for accuracy.
  • Coordinate EOD dates for new hires and follows up with all Obtains and coordinates release dates needed to complete Standard Form (SF) 75 information from losing and gaining Federal Personnel agencies.
  • Prepare offer letters, creating and distributing employment-related correspondence, and orientation materials.
  • Prepare security packages and medical packages.
  • Fully participates in conducting new employee orientation, including presenting information, completion new hire paperwork, and following up with one-on-one counseling.
  • Ensure personnel documents for non-hire actions.
  • Updates HC Dashboard - Tracker with accurate and concise information.
  • Codes actions for inputs into the National Finance Center's (NFC) automated payroll/personnel systems and reviews and follows up on error listings and computer edits from data input to ensure personnel actions are submitted and input on a timely basis.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of coding and processing personnel actions, including correctly coding Standard Form personnel actions with Nature of Action codes, tenure, probationary period, legal authority, etc.
  • Experience with USA Staffing, including Selection Manager and Onboarding modules.
  • Skill and working knowledge of NFC/EPIC.
  • Basic knowledge of the full range of recruitment, placement, position management, classification, compensation, performance management, and personnel support services.
  • Skill and working knowledge of National Finance Center's EmpowHR.
  • Skill and working knowledge of OPM's eOPF.
  • Skilled in using Windows Operating Systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and Power Point.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe.
Skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to write email correspondences or formal letters to various customers.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team to collaborate and reach a common goal.
