Role of the Market Manager

As a Market Manager (MM), you will be responsible for leading a team of Territory Sales Managers (TSM). Your key focus will be to drive business performance within your assigned territory, ensuring the company's objectives are met in that area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Guide the TSM team to optimize sales and distribution of all company offerings in the designated region through effective local and national sales strategies.
  • Formulate and execute account strategies at both national and regional levels to achieve sales, profitability, and market share goals.
  • Build partnerships to improve performance metrics.
  • Leverage data and insights to establish performance targets and evaluate outcomes.
  • Conduct performance assessments with distributors to enhance business results in critical segments.
  • Ensure adherence to established company standards and procedures by the team.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector, preferably within the Beverage industry.
  • Experience working with distributors and suppliers is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing third-party sales teams with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including presentation and training skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • A clean driving record is required, and you must be able to obtain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon job offer acceptance.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
