Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Permanent Employment Litigation Associate to enhance our team.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in employment litigation, focusing on covenants and trade secrets.

This role offers a unique chance to engage in a dynamic environment, managing a variety of intricate employment litigation cases.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing cases, drafting and arguing motions, responding to discovery requests, and collaborating closely with clients and team members.


Key Responsibilities:
As an Employment Litigation Associate, your duties will encompass but are not limited to:

  • Managing a diverse array of complex employment litigation cases, emphasizing restrictive covenants and trade secrets law.
  • Drafting and responding to discovery requests and overseeing ESI discovery processes.
  • Preparing and arguing motions in both state and federal courts.
  • Conducting and defending depositions in various employment-related disputes.
  • Representing clients in labor and employment matters, including cases involving employment discrimination statutes and class actions.
  • Collaborating with clients to deliver strategic and practical legal guidance on a variety of employment issues.
  • Working alongside team members to ensure the highest standards of legal service are met.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
  • Admission to the Arizona Bar is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a litigation associate, with a strong emphasis on employment law.
  • Demonstrated experience with ESI discovery and in drafting and arguing motions.
  • Extensive knowledge in employment law, particularly regarding restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
  • Proven track record in taking and defending depositions.
  • Familiarity with employment discrimination laws and class action litigation.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and client confidentiality.
