Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Permanent Employment Litigation Associate to join our esteemed team.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in employment litigation, particularly concerning covenants and trade secrets.
This role offers a unique chance to engage in a dynamic environment, managing a diverse array of intricate employment litigation cases.
The successful applicant will be instrumental in case management, drafting and arguing motions, responding to discovery requests, and collaborating closely with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Employment Litigation Associate, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing a variety of complex employment litigation cases, focusing on restrictive covenants and trade secrets law.
- Drafting and responding to discovery requests while overseeing ESI discovery processes.
- Preparing and arguing motions in both state and federal courts.
- Conducting and defending depositions in various employment-related disputes.
- Representing clients in labor and employment matters, including issues related to employment discrimination laws and class actions.
- Providing strategic and practical legal counsel to clients on a wide range of employment-related issues.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Arizona Bar is mandatory.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a litigation associate, with a strong emphasis on employment law.
- Demonstrated expertise in ESI discovery and the drafting and arguing of motions.
- Extensive experience in employment law, particularly in restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
- Proven track record in taking and defending depositions.
- Familiarity with employment discrimination laws and class action litigation.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
