Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Permanent Employment Litigation Associate.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in employment litigation, with a specific focus on restrictive covenants and trade secrets.

This role offers a unique chance to engage in a dynamic environment, managing a variety of complex employment litigation cases.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing cases, drafting and arguing motions, responding to discovery requests, and collaborating closely with clients and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities:
As an Employment Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing a diverse array of complex employment litigation cases, particularly concerning restrictive covenants and trade secrets law.

  • Drafting and responding to discovery requests while managing ESI discovery processes.
  • Preparing and arguing motions in both state and federal courts.
  • Conducting and defending depositions in various employment-related disputes.
  • Representing clients in labor and employment matters, including issues related to employment discrimination laws and class actions.
  • Providing strategic and practical legal guidance to clients on a wide range of employment issues.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Arizona Bar is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a litigation associate, with a strong emphasis on employment law.
  • Demonstrated experience with ESI discovery and in drafting and arguing motions.
  • Extensive knowledge in employment law, particularly in restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
  • Proven experience in taking and defending depositions.
  • Familiarity with employment discrimination laws and class action suits.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and client confidentiality.
