Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Shift Manager to join our team at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and supervising staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including guest check-in, check-out, and room assignments
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure excellent guest service and efficient operations
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 1-2 years of experience in hotel operations preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
