Position Summary

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed, responsible for overseeing the security operations of a prestigious client's facility and its surrounding areas during a designated shift. The Shift Supervisor will execute general security responsibilities as outlined in the post orders, ensuring the protection of individuals and property while enforcing relevant policies, rules, and regulations. This role is crucial in deterring criminal activity and misconduct.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
  • Guide and instruct team members regarding their duties.
  • Cross-train security personnel to enhance versatility and operational efficiency.
  • Propose productivity and cost-saving measures to management.
  • Recommend improvements for physical security assessments and post orders.
  • Advise on personnel actions for those under direct supervision.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with contract-required training and screening for security staff.
  • Maintain overtime within prescribed limits set by Allied Universal.
  • Regularly inspect security personnel and their performance to ensure quality service and contract adherence.
  • Perform additional operational functions, including payroll management and incident report reviews.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Associate's degree or higher in any field.
    • Active-duty military service or reserves.
    • Experience as auxiliary police or police cadets.
    • At least one year of verifiable security experience.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience demonstrating:
    • Exceptional customer service abilities.
    • Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
    • Understanding and application of written and verbal instructions, along with report writing skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and coaching skills.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and assess situations accurately.
  • Attention to detail and goal-setting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Emergency Management Systems and FEMA Incident Command Certification (ICO 100, 200, 300).
  • Knowledge of EMS protocols, Medical First Responder, or Emergency Medical Technician.
