Overview:

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, overseeing nursing tasks, and facilitating the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of patient care to ensure the highest quality of service, in alignment with the institution's mission and nursing principles, goals, and standards.

This role includes full access to patient medical records.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within one year of employment.

Completion of a facility and unit-specific orientation is mandatory, which encompasses age and population-specific competencies relevant to the practice area and addresses the developmental needs of the patients receiving care.

The candidate must demonstrate a full range of physical motion to successfully complete a basic fitness test, which includes bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for prolonged periods.

Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 30 pounds is essential.

Work Schedule:
Saturday/Sunday plus one additional day every other week.
