About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director/Capture Manager to join our team at Concept Plus. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in driving growth and developing deep client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategy: Collaborate with our General Manager to develop and execute a growth strategy for the DLA Account, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • Capture and Proposal Development: Support the capture of new and organic growth opportunities, including recompetes, and develop high-quality proposals that meet client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across the DLA Account, creating formal networks and serving as an external spokesperson for our organization.
  • Service Offering Development: Develop a proficient understanding of our service offerings and contribute to the growth of the company through capture and proposal writing.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and control meetings, bring diverse groups to consensus, and work collaboratively with other functional areas to complete capture tasks.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Capture Expectations: Identify, pursue, and capture opportunities based on annual targets, drive and lead capture efforts across the DLA Account, and assist in leading strategic business development activities.
  • Growth Planning: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive growth plans, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 10+ years of professional work experience, including 5+ years of capture experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • DLA Capture Experience: 3+ years of DLA capture experience
  • Proposal Writing: Experience with capture and leading a proposal response, proficiency with proposal writing
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management abilities, with a passion for driving success and growing team members and clients
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draw insight from findings and understand customer business issues
