Business Development Representative

SoBran, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in the private and public sector for our growing logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic capture plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Work closely with operations personnel to assemble federal pursuit teams and develop compliant proposals.
- Lead proposal development efforts, including writing, editing, and reviewing proposals.
- Conduct competitive assessments and make recommendations on teaming partners.
- Support execution of federal marketing campaigns and internal communications.
- Write supporting sales materials, including project descriptions and executive summaries.
- Manage multiple capture efforts simultaneously and stay up to date on industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Business-to-business selling experience.
- Experience with government contract proposals and other state/local formats.
- Effective project management skills, including planning, organization, and time management.
- Experience in the defense, commercial, or government logistics arena with knowledge of government regulations and processes.
- Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) and whole government request for proposal (RFP) process.
- Government procurement experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to work sites requiring security background checks.
- Willingness to travel and work from alternate locations when needed.
