Business Development Representative

SoBran, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in the private and public sector for our growing logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic capture plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with operations personnel to assemble federal pursuit teams and develop compliant proposals.
  • Lead proposal development efforts, including writing, editing, and reviewing proposals.
  • Conduct competitive assessments and make recommendations on teaming partners.
  • Support execution of federal marketing campaigns and internal communications.
  • Write supporting sales materials, including project descriptions and executive summaries.
  • Manage multiple capture efforts simultaneously and stay up to date on industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Business-to-business selling experience.
  • Experience with government contract proposals and other state/local formats.
  • Effective project management skills, including planning, organization, and time management.
  • Experience in the defense, commercial, or government logistics arena with knowledge of government regulations and processes.
  • Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) and whole government request for proposal (RFP) process.
  • Government procurement experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to work sites requiring security background checks.
  • Willingness to travel and work from alternate locations when needed.
