Business Development Lead - International Development

USmax is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to lead efforts in identifying, qualifying, and supporting the winning of new business opportunities at USAID, Department of State, and Millennium Challenge Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present opportunities for gate review.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct customer outreach, lead customer meetings, and develop targeted marketing collateral to influence customers.
  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies based on company strategy, industry trends, customer desires, and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Capture and analyze competitive intelligence and organizational structures.
  • Identify and cultivate teaming partnerships and business alliances.
  • Assist in recruiting and retaining key personnel and other qualified employees.
  • Support the execution of non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
Requirements:
  • Five plus years of proven experience in building and maintaining a business development pipeline for competitive federal acquisitions.
  • Proven success in business development, sales, or account management within USAID, DOS, and/or MCC.
Education:
  • High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Security Clearance:
  • None required.
Work Location and Schedule:
  • Fairfax, Virginia - hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote).
Travel Requirements:
  • As required.
