Position Overview:

At Alstom, we recognize the significance of transportation networks and their impact on society.
Our extensive portfolio includes high-speed trains, metros, monorails, trams, and comprehensive systems, services, infrastructure, signaling, and digital mobility solutions.

Every day, our dedicated team of 80,000 professionals is committed to fostering greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting urban areas while minimizing carbon footprints and reducing reliance on automobiles.

Your Role:

As a full-time onsite Process Engineering Specialist, you will embrace a new challenge and leverage your expertise in process engineering within a pioneering sector.

Collaboration is key; you will work alongside innovative and dedicated colleagues, contributing to the enhancement of our Special Processes (SP) throughout various phases, from proposal to execution, while ensuring adherence to our stringent standards of Ethics and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in concurrent engineering to shape technical decisions related to SP.

  • Oversee the evolution of quality control processes for SP.
  • Manage industrial risks through Process FMEA and develop actionable plans.
  • Ensure internal controls and adherence to process regulations during serial manufacturing.
Candidate Profile:

We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, process engineering, mechanical, electronics, electrical, or a related discipline.
  • Experience or familiarity with manufacturing process engineering.
  • Understanding of special processes in industrial environments, particularly related to torquing and tightening.
  • Knowledge of Process FMEA and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and the capability to conduct effective training sessions.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, write, and converse fluently.
What We Offer:

Embark on a transformative journey in the rail industry, where you can continuously grow and acquire new skills throughout your career.

Additionally, you will:

  • Work with cutting-edge industrial control processes and optimization strategies across various production stages.
  • Advance towards becoming a key contributor to our ongoing improvements in product quality and efficiency.
  • Steer your career in any direction you choose across functions and countries.
  • Benefit from a competitive and equitable reward package that acknowledges your performance and potential, along with comprehensive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

At Alstom, we celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for all.
