At Alstom, we're committed to leading the way to a low-carbon future. As a Methods Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in defining and validating the detailed manufacturing process for new products, ensuring efficient production and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize production workflows
- Conduct process analysis and improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain industrial master data, including routings, work instructions, and tooling specifications
- Lead continuous improvement actions and industrialize product and process changes
- At least 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing or a related field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% for work
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Manufacturing experience in the railway industry
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing engineering, including work instructions and line balancing
- Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP
- Knowledge of quality, EHS, and ergonomics standards
- Understanding of process FMEA and QRQC
