We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive Sales Representative to join our team at Vertus Healthcare. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our home health care services to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other referral sources.

  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other referral sources to promote our home health care services.
  • Conduct Presentations: Conduct in-services, presentations, and educational events to introduce our home health care services to physicians, patients, and other referral sources.
  • Coordinate Discharge Planning: Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
  • Develop Business Plans: Develop, implement, and evaluate business development plans to drive sales growth and expand our market share.
  • Establish New Business Referral Sources: Identify and establish new business referral sources to consistently develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain Current Relationships: Successfully maintain current relationships with referral sources and meet regularly with the clinical team to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Implement Market Strategies: Identify and implement market strategies with sales and clinical teams to drive continued census growth and improve market share.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Regulations: Maintain knowledge of Medicare and state-specific home health care regulations to ensure compliance and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Prepare Business Plans and Target Lists: Prepare business plans and maintain target lists to prioritize accounts and drive sales growth.
  • Provide Input on Key Customer Opportunities: Gather and organize account-related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service line extensions, and proposal or contract pricing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a health-related science (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, etc.) or the equivalent plus a minimum of two years healthcare or related industry sales experience generally required.
  • Excellent selling, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to appropriately represent the Company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience is required.
  • Previous healthcare sales experience preferred such as selling in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), DME, ortho, cardio, etc. OR previous experience as a clinical liaison preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
