Job Title: Senior Director of Asset Management Operations

Dominium is a leading affordable housing development and property management company, dedicated to creating quality, affordable homes and fostering a sense of community among our residents. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Asset Management Operations to join our team and drive the optimization of our property management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the performance of our asset management operations, focusing on increasing the value of our portfolio through refinancing, sales, and purchases of limited partnership interests.
  • Oversee the analysis, evaluation, and optimization of our asset portfolio to maximize returns and align with organizational goals, including market evaluation during due diligence periods.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with asset management activities.
  • Drive efficiency improvements across asset management processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and ensure the financial health of our assets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on asset management strategies and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all asset management activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in asset management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of asset management principles, real estate investment, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
