Key Responsibilities:- Act as Executive Director in senior living communities where this position is vacant, overseeing overall management, staff, financials, and resident well-being.
- Report to our Regional VP of Operations and collaborate with Regional teams to identify challenges and create solutions.
- Assist in recruiting and retaining qualified staff, developing a positive and supportive team atmosphere, and interviewing and recommending hiring qualified associates.
- Provide assistance in marketing, outreach, resident admissions, resident assessments, and discharge procedures.
- May conduct associate performance reviews and assess training needs for staff, providing training as needed.
- May assist in resolving budget discrepancies and variances, as well as resolving issues identified by residents and/or their family members.
- Collaborate with the healthcare management team to organize, develop, and conduct service plan reviews, supervise the maintenance of resident charts, and review documentation performed by resident care staff.
- Texas Assisted Living Managers Certification
- Two years of experience as an Executive Director in assisted living or memory care community
- Strong operations and financial aptitude
- Prefer a strong leader with a team-oriented approach and ability to motivate and train staff
- Valid driver's license and licensure according to state requirements
- 75% travel required, must be able to travel significantly
