Diamond Peak Recruiting is in search of an experienced Lead Project Manager specializing in HVAC systems to oversee and direct intricate commercial and industrial projects. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing every phase of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Direct and supervise multiple HVAC systems projects concurrently, from pre-construction to project completion.
  • Create and sustain project timelines, financial plans, and resource allocations.
  • Guarantee that all project goals are achieved, ensuring timely delivery, scope compliance, and budget adherence.

Strategic Development & Implementation:

  • Collaborate with upper management to formulate project strategies and objectives.
  • Lead project planning initiatives, including cost estimation, procurement processes, and risk assessment.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancements and apply best practices to boost project outcomes.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage project teams, including project leads, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Guide and nurture junior project management personnel, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure alignment of all team members with project objectives and organizational standards.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication among clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and address any issues or modifications promptly and effectively.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site assessments and inspections to evaluate progress and quality.
  • Implement and uphold safety measures to guarantee a secure working environment for all personnel.

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and manage project finances, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Review and authorize project-related invoices, change requests, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare regular financial updates and forecasts for senior management.

Problem Resolution & Risk Mitigation:

  • Identify potential risks and devise strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Address project-related challenges and conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
  • Lead post-project evaluations to capture insights and implement improvements for future initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Over 10 years of project management experience, particularly in HVAC systems.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects from start to finish.
