Position Details

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our Construction division, focusing on industrial, water, wastewater, and pump station projects. As the Lead Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical design, installation, and maintenance aspects of various construction initiatives. This position offers the chance to manage a diverse range of projects while ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and adheres to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all electrical components of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and adjust project work plans to accommodate evolving needs and requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations of projects, coordinating materials and labor effectively.
  • Identify necessary resources and assign responsibilities accordingly.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly organized.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and review project outputs.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and generate reports to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.
  • Communicate relevant project information effectively to team members and management.
  • Address and escalate issues promptly as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations throughout all project phases.
  • Develop best practices and tools for effective project execution and management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in project management within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects in industrial, water, wastewater, and pump station fields.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, and maintenance in construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in project management software and the MS Office Suite.
