Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician 3, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of equipment within our facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high equipment availability rates through preventive and predictive maintenance practices. You will quickly address equipment breakdowns and restore functionality efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical components of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyors and robotics.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to conduct Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to optimize equipment performance and validate the quality of work performed by external contractors.
  • Act as a technical mentor to junior technicians, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain safety standards by following appropriate procedures and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Utilize handheld devices for work order management and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license.
  • Strong proficiency in PC usage and mobile applications.
  • Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical measurements.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance is preferred.

Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work in varied conditions and may involve standing or walking for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared to lift and move items weighing up to 49 pounds.
