Reporting To: Field Services Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The On-Site Facility Support Specialist (OFSS) collaborates with clients in the multi-family housing sector to deliver effective operational solutions tailored to their maintenance supply requirements. The OFSS provides logistical and operational assistance to the Onsite Services team, handling will calls, organizing customer facilities, and participating in the setup for new clients. This role also serves as a backup for Field Service Representatives (FSRs) when necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service while conducting fieldwork to meet the inventory and service needs of Onsite Services clients (including property managers, service managers, and engineers).
- Support and provide backup to Onsite Services team members, including FSRs and management.
- Travel daily to assigned client locations across the region.
- Lead or assist in the organization of existing facilities, which may involve constructing shelves, creating bin boxes, sorting and identifying parts, developing location databases, and establishing minimum/maximum inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Operations & Sales team members to onboard new clients, ensuring the organization of storerooms during transitions, including product identification, establishing inventory levels, shelf setup, and bin labeling.
- Execute emergency deliveries as directed by the Field Services Manager.
- Provide ongoing insights to Daycon/Onsite leadership regarding customer trends and potential process enhancements.
- Achieve proficiency in FSR responsibilities for backup support and career advancement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in field-based customer support.
- Ability to engage professionally with clients in the field.
- Willingness to spend the majority of the workday traveling locally.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Basic mathematical skills, including multiplication, division, and fractions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be capable of frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous or caustic materials.
- Regularly works in office, warehouse, or outdoor settings.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regular travel to client locations and work in various warehouse/storeroom environments.
- Position requires travel between sites in all weather conditions.
