As part of our Supply Chain Facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring products reach our guests swiftly—a key differentiator in our logistics operations. You will collaborate across various teams to find solutions that support our business objectives. Your work will impact thousands of team members and guests globally, setting Target apart from competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 3, you will serve as a technical expert, ensuring optimal equipment availability. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
- Quickly diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians to tackle complex issues.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians to enhance their skills.
Specific Duties Include:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as conveyors and robotics.
- Adjusting and calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
- Installing and maintaining control systems and components.
- Troubleshooting PLC programs and power distribution systems.
- Creating and managing work orders using mobile applications.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one.
- Proficient in using PCs and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with electrical diagrams and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in industrial electrical, controls, and electronics.
- Preferred: Technical degree or certifications in Mechanical/Electrical fields and 4+ years of relevant experience.
