The hourly compensation for this role is $54.33. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including labor market conditions, education, work experience, and certifications. This position is essential to our logistics operations, allowing you to collaborate across various teams to find solutions that support our business objectives. Whether working in regional distribution centers, import warehouses, or fulfillment centers, your contributions will positively impact thousands of team members and guests worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 3, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for maintaining high equipment availability. Your duties will include:
- Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyors, robotics, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring equipment is restored to operational status swiftly.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians to troubleshoot complex problems and validate the quality of work performed by external contractors.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures and implementing solutions to address systemic issues.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a valid driver's license.
- Proficient in using mobile applications and PC software.
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical measurement techniques.
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or accredited certifications in Mechanical/Electrical fields.
- 4+ years of experience in maintenance roles focusing on mechanical or electrical systems.
