Key Responsibilities:
As a Fire Safety Systems Specialist, your role will encompass the following:

  • Conducting thorough servicing, inspection, and testing of fire alarm systems in accordance with established standards.
  • Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of fire alarm systems.
  • Programming and addressing issues related to our clients' fire alarm systems.
  • Identifying compliance and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
  • Preparing detailed and timely service tickets and reports.
  • Assisting in the installation of fire alarm systems as required.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with low voltage electrical systems, including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intrusion systems, and Access Control.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, including multi-meters and digital analyzers.
  • The physical capability to handle equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • The ability to work in challenging positions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
  • A strong commitment to customer service, organization, and a positive demeanor.
  • Management of truck inventory to ensure prompt response to service requests.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • A Fire Alarm License is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
