Your Responsibilities:
Skilled in the maintenance, repair, installation, and programming of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, security systems, nurse call systems, intercoms, CCTV systems, and other related building systems.
Familiarity with testing equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, digital analyzers, battery testers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communication devices.
Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
Able to work in challenging and sometimes awkward positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and navigating through ducts and crawl spaces.
Conduct inspections and installation tasks on electronic fire systems.
Willingness to work overtime or stay overnight during peak project schedules.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in electrical installations.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
Self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision.
Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company standards.
Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses as required by National, State, and Local regulations.
Preferred:
Five (5) years of experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance.
COMPENSATION:
$20-25 per hour (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and market alignment.)
