Director of Patient Care Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Patient Care Services to join our team at Roze Room Hospice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall clinical management of our hospice program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of clinical staff, including team managers, contracted services, and on-call staff.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the mission and goals of Roze Room Hospice.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and services, meeting the needs of individuals and families in our community.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing or another health-related field.
- Current California RN license and certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred.
- Five years of work experience, with at least three years in a hospice or home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility, with at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
- Demonstrate high-level competency in performance of professional nursing functions.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and manage effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to make effective decisions under time pressure.
- Ability to supervise and evaluate staff.
- Knowledge of regulatory aspects of hospice.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff, members of the public, patients, and families, as well as ability to direct others.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable/well-maintained transportation.
