Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services to lead our Imaging Services department at Providence Health & Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our diagnostic imaging services, ensuring the highest quality care and service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Imaging Services department, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care and service.
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  2. Operational Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the Imaging Services department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
    • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial viability and sustainability.
    • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  3. Quality and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for quality and safety.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and promote a culture of safety.
  4. Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and other stakeholders on departmental performance and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  1. Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration).
    • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field (preferred).
  2. Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role in a healthcare setting.
    • 2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., radiology, imaging services).
  3. Certifications and Licenses
    • ARRT or RHB, ARDMS, or ARMRIT certification (preferred).
    • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization (Vendor Managed).
