Position: Full-Time Director of Patient Care Services

This role is integral to our hospice program, which operates within the Greater Los Angeles region and its neighboring areas.

Compensation: $125,000 annually plus a bonus structure.

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) to lead our hospice program, ensuring high-quality care across the Greater Los Angeles area. The DPCS holds a vital executive leadership role, overseeing the clinical management of the hospice program. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, team managers, contracted services, and on-call personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the clinical operations of the hospice program.
  • Manage and mentor clinical staff to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards in hospice care.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or a related health field.
  • Possession of a current California RN license; certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, including at least three years in a hospice or home health setting, with one year in a supervisory or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in professional nursing functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of hospice regulatory requirements.
