Compensation: $125,000 annually plus a bonus structure.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) to lead our hospice program, ensuring high-quality care across the Greater Los Angeles area. The DPCS holds a vital executive leadership role, overseeing the clinical management of the hospice program. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, team managers, contracted services, and on-call personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the clinical operations of the hospice program.
- Manage and mentor clinical staff to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards in hospice care.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or a related health field.
- Possession of a current California RN license; certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, including at least three years in a hospice or home health setting, with one year in a supervisory or administrative role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in professional nursing functions.
- Comprehensive understanding of hospice regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Effective supervision and evaluation of staff performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
