Key Responsibilities

As a Property Preservation Specialist I, you will operate with minimal oversight to ensure the integrity of property conditions. Your primary duties will include:
  • Ordering and evaluating Property Inspection reports.
  • Assessing the condition of properties and identifying necessary repairs.
  • Requesting bids for repair work and overseeing the completion of these repairs.
  • Coordinating with established vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Monitoring vendor performance and following up on overdue tasks.

Essential Functions

These functions are crucial to the role and must be performed on-site, as they are integral to effective oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity. While some tasks may allow for partial remote work, a significant in-person presence is necessary.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Single-Family Default Real Estate Servicing, with a focus on Property Preservation.

  • The ability to analyze images and reports to accurately assess property conditions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

  • A foundational understanding of mortgage lending and servicing.
  • Effective negotiation and follow-up skills, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
