Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Mendota Heights White Pine Senior Living. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality meals for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage food purchasing and inventory, maintaining safe and sanitary conditions in the kitchen
  • Assist with budgeting and financial management of food services
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure seamless service and high resident satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar setting with ServSafe or Food Manager certification
  • Strong knowledge of dietary budgeting and menu planning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion and understanding of the needs of seniors
