About the Position

Highline College, WA is seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Faculty Instructor to teach a range of business technology classes specifically geared toward students in the Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (IBEST) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory and intermediate courses in business technology, including keyboarding, Microsoft Office, Windows, and customer service.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum that is responsive to changing technologies and a diverse student population.
  • Use Canvas course development and administration tools to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Teach a schedule that includes day, hybrid, and online courses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in teaching business technology courses, preferably in a community college setting.
  • Strong knowledge of business technology software and tools, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
