Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry Instructor to join our team at Highline College, WA. As a Chemistry Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching chemistry courses to students and promoting effective learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach chemistry courses to students, including General Chemistry with Lab II and General Chemistry with Lab III.
  • Develop and implement course materials, including lesson plans and assessments.
  • Provide instruction and support to students, including office hours and online support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
  • Collaborate with department faculty and staff to ensure consistency in course content and quality.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in chemistry.
  • Experience teaching chemistry courses, preferably at the community college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field.
