Position Details

The Department of Marketing and International Business is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position, with an expected start date in September. Faculty members at the University of Washington engage in research, teaching, and service.

Research and Teaching Responsibilities

The successful candidate will focus on research in marketing analytics, which may encompass data-driven marketing, economics, statistics, and machine learning. Teaching duties will primarily involve marketing analytics courses at both the master's and undergraduate levels.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $23,000 and $34,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications, or as determined by U.S. Department of Labor wage standards. Additional compensation may include moving allowances, summer research funding, endowments (for tenured positions), and administrative supplements.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess or be nearing completion of a PhD or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related fields. Candidates may be considered for a temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor, pending PhD completion, with the possibility of transitioning to Assistant Professor upon degree conferral.
