Customer Service Agent

Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the On-call Representatives play a crucial role in managing incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients, providers, and staff by ensuring that all inquiries are addressed effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to all incoming calls with a positive attitude and a commitment to service excellence.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and provide accurate information.
- Schedule appointments and guide callers through the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Assist patients in navigating patient portals and troubleshooting any concerns.
- De-escalate challenging situations with dissatisfied patients, providing support and solutions as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- A friendly and enthusiastic individual with a passion for helping others.
- Strong customer service skills, teamwork, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong active listening skills.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and collaborative skills.
- Proficient with computer systems and software.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
