Universal Banker

Berkshire Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and driving sales growth.

• Customer Service
  • Provide personalized service to customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to sell Bank products and services, increasing revenue and customer loyalty.
• Client Service Line Duties
  • Execute a wide range of client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records and balances, ensuring compliance with Bank regulations and policies.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Operational Duties
  • Perform cash handling and balancing duties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Bank policies.
  • Assist with daily office work, including balancing and reconciliations.
  • Participate in branch staff meetings and provide support to the Financial Center Manager and Assistant Financial Center Manager as needed.

• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Banking courses or experience preferred.
• Experience
  • Proven experience in a goal-oriented sales or customer service environment.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
• Skills and Knowledge
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) skills, with ability to conduct face-to-face interaction.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and make appropriate sales.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
