Education Support Officer

Role Summary:
The Education Support Officer - Buildings and Grounds will provide support to the school community by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school grounds and facilities. This role will involve a range of tasks including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs, as well as assisting with events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilities Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the school grounds and facilities, including the school buildings, playgrounds, and sports fields.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to school facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Event Support: Assist with the setup and running of school events, including sports days, concerts, and other activities.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents to ensure that facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
- Education: A minimum of a Year 10 education or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Physical Demands: The ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
The Education Support Officer - Buildings and Grounds will work in a school environment, with a focus on maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school grounds and facilities. The role will involve working in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors, and may require working at heights or in confined spaces.
