The Manager of Growth & Community Engagement will play a pivotal role in meeting enrollment targets across various business lines. This position requires collaboration with multiple departments to enhance choice rates and assignment percentages.

Key Qualifications:

  • Residence in the Riverside or San Bernardino area, as this will be the primary travel region.
  • Willingness to travel, including trips to Sacramento and local areas.
  • Understanding that this role involves approximately 60% travel.
  • Availability for weekends and evenings, with flexibility on other days.
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel for analytical reporting.
  • Recent background in business development, community relations, or healthcare-related fields.
  • A growth-oriented mindset.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and implement the enrollment growth strategy for designated areas, ensuring accountability for membership growth targets.
  • Responsible for achieving set goals, focusing on improving the overall choice rate and Medicaid assignment percentages.
  • Oversee daily operations and management of team members, including recruitment, training, development, and mentorship. Regularly assess team performance metrics to ensure alignment with enrollment growth objectives.
  • Contribute to the design, execution, and assessment of the enrollment growth plan for the assigned territory, planning activities to boost membership.
  • Work with sales teams across different lines of business to pinpoint growth opportunities with key providers and community organizations.
  • Lead efforts to build relationships with essential providers, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, school-based organizations, and business-based organizations, guiding them through the enrollment process.
  • Direct the creation and approval of marketing materials in compliance with State and Federal guidelines for all product lines.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Molina's product offerings, including Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare SNP, and Marketplace programs.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Healthcare Administration.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years in business development, community relations, or healthcare-related activities.
  • 3 years of experience in Managed Care or Medicaid, with knowledge of advertising requirements for Medicaid and Medicare campaigns.
  • Prior supervisory experience, showcasing strong organizational and motivational skills.
  • Experience in negotiation, sales, or marketing techniques.

Licenses and Certifications:

Completion of Molina/DHS/MRMIB Marketing Certification Program/Covered CA Certified.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in healthcare enrollment, marketing, or sales.
  • Fluency in a second language is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience.

  • Active Life & Health Insurance License
  • Marketplace Certification
