Job Description

Salary: Salary grade: 13, Midpoint: $85,000

Location: Bozeman, MT

Overview: The Business Analyst is tasked with overseeing the daily operations, configuration, and enhancement of the Salesforce platform, specifically focusing on the nCino application, which serves as the bank's loan management system. This role is pivotal in managing the commercial loan lifecycle within the nCino framework to ensure an optimized customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the bank's Salesforce nCino implementation, including security settings and user management.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user issues while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Create and manage nCino Support Cases, including thorough documentation and collaboration with nCino Support Engineers.
  • Utilize project management skills to gather and prioritize necessary fixes and enhancements in collaboration with the lending business unit.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and processes to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Handle application configuration tasks, including validation rules, approval processes, and template management.
  • Conduct proper change management between different environments.
  • Oversee bulk data imports into nCino.
  • Design training materials and documentation for application users, ensuring they are kept current.
  • Monitor user adoption and provide additional training or resources as necessary.
  • Document and track changes and customizations made within nCino.
  • Collaborate with internal security to recommend necessary role and profile adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities for application optimization and development.

Additional Duties:

  • Generate reports for management regarding loan and deposit portfolios, including profitability metrics.
  • Compile and validate data for board reporting and decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to enhance workflow efficiencies.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of banking lending processes and ability to streamline workflows.
  • Proficient in relational database concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in software support.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and nCino administration.
  • Background in financial institutions or lending.
  • Experience with reporting tools and web technologies.
  • Salesforce or nCino Administration Certification is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Work Environment: This position requires routine indoor work in a climate-controlled office setting. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, with potential for additional hours as needed.

Travel Requirements: Primary work assignment will be at the designated location, with occasional travel to other branches as necessary.

Compensation: Salary grade: 13; Compensation is dependent on experience.

Status: Full-Time, Exempt
