Position Title: Business Analyst - nCino Administrator

Location: Bozeman, MT

Salary: Salary grade: 13, Midpoint: $85,000

Position Summary

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations, configuration, and enhancements of the Salesforce platform, specifically focusing on the administration of the nCino application, which serves as the bank's loan management system. This role is vital in managing the commercial loan lifecycle within the nCino application, ensuring an optimized customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the bank's Salesforce nCino implementation, including security settings and user management.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user issues while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Create and manage nCino Support Cases, collaborating with the assigned nCino Support Engineer for resolution.
  • Utilize project management skills to gather, document, and prioritize necessary fixes and enhancements in collaboration with the lending business unit.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and processes to enhance data quality and productivity.
  • Handle application configuration, including validation and workflow rules, approval processes, and form generation templates.
  • Conduct proper change management between environments.
  • Oversee bulk data imports into nCino.
  • Design training materials and documentation for application users, ensuring they are up to date.
  • Monitor user adoption rates and provide additional training or resources as necessary.
  • Document and track business logic, workflows, and customizations within nCino.
  • Collaborate with internal security to recommend changes to roles and profiles.
  • Identify opportunities for application optimization and development.
Additional Duties
  • Create management reports related to loan and deposit portfolios, including stress testing and profitability metrics.
  • Compile and validate data for board reporting and management decision-making.
  • Work with various departments to create efficiencies in workflows and reporting.
Qualifications

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Understanding of banking lending processes and ability to adjust workflows accordingly.
  • Proficient in relational database concepts and designs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management capabilities.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in software support is preferred.
  • Background in Salesforce or nCino administration is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial institutions and lending processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools and web technologies.
  • Salesforce or nCino Administration Certification is a plus.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Work Environment

Work is typically performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role may require working under time constraints and outside normal business hours as necessary.

Travel Requirements

Primary work assignment will be at the assigned location, with occasional travel to non-primary locations as needed.

Compensation: Salary grade: 13; Compensation is dependent on experience.
