Overview: The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in the management and enhancement of the Salesforce platform and the nCino application, which serves as the bank's loan management system. This position is pivotal in overseeing the commercial loan lifecycle within the nCino application, ensuring that the bank maximizes customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the bank's Salesforce nCino implementation, including security settings and user management.
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user issues while maintaining the bank's commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Create and manage nCino Support Cases, ensuring thorough documentation and collaboration with nCino Support Engineers.
  • Utilize project management skills to gather and prioritize necessary fixes and enhancements in collaboration with the lending business unit.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and processes to enhance data quality and productivity.
  • Handle application configuration tasks, including validation rules, approval processes, and template generation.
  • Conduct change management between environments effectively.
  • Oversee bulk data imports into nCino.
  • Design training materials and documentation for application users, ensuring they remain current and relevant.
  • Monitor user adoption and provide additional training or resources as necessary.
  • Document and track business logic and workflow changes within nCino.
  • Collaborate with internal security to recommend changes to roles and profiles.
  • Identify opportunities for application optimization and development.

Additional Duties:

  • Generate reports for management regarding loan and deposit portfolios, including profitability metrics.
  • Compile and validate data for board reporting and management decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to enhance workflow efficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Understanding of banking lending processes and the ability to streamline workflows.
  • Proficient in relational database concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in software support and Salesforce/nCino administration.
  • Background in financial institutions or knowledge of lending practices.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Salesforce or nCino Administration Certification is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Work Environment: This role requires the ability to work in a climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels during standard business hours.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary for business purposes.

Compensation: Salary grade: 13; Compensation is dependent on experience.

Status: Full-Time, Exempt
