The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a significant emphasis on safety. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in the execution and oversight of residential and multi-family construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Multi-Family Construction Engineer:

  • Providing assistance and support to the project team with daily coordination tasks.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to relay expectations and guidance to subcontractors and team members regarding timelines, construction techniques, company protocols, permits, safety measures, sustainability practices, quality assurance, and other performance benchmarks.
  • Managing the procurement process for construction materials.
  • Engaging with external contractors, including Architects, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Utility Consultants, Soils Engineers, and other specialists.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating progress and cost reports, schedules, and completion requirements to assist the Project Manager effectively.
  • Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure the security of the project site and company resources, while maintaining a safe and respectful workplace.
  • Assisting in project estimation and various pre-construction tasks.

Qualifications for the Multi-Family Construction Engineer:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field is required.
