Job Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Geotechnical Engineer who plays a pivotal role in our team's success.

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will deliver engineering and advisory services across a diverse range of projects and clientele.

Your responsibilities will encompass conducting and/or overseeing field investigations, performing engineering analyses, executing calculations, and formulating recommendations. You will also be involved in the design and development of plans and specifications, as well as the observation and inspection of projects, alongside the preparation and review of related reports.

You will review drawings and construction to ensure adherence to plans and specifications. Additionally, you will prepare proposals and cost estimates, monitor project progress, budgets, and suggest necessary modifications. You will also research and resolve design and construction challenges, while assigning, reviewing, and evaluating laboratory or field data for report inclusion.

Utilizing sound engineering principles, you will effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical clients and project teams.

Our services cater to both existing and proposed projects in sectors such as public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial fields.

Key Responsibilities:

- Champion safety initiatives for the team, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
- Foster a culture of pre-task planning for all assignments.
- Promote ongoing quality monitoring and enhancement throughout projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Cultivate an understanding of project-related risks and implement measures to safeguard the company, familiarizing yourself with company risk policies.

As a senior-level engineering professional, you will provide the technical direction necessary for the successful execution of both routine and complex projects.

Your role will involve conceptualizing initial designs and investigative approaches for significant phases of large projects or overseeing engineering efforts on projects of moderate scope.

You will plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering tasks that involve conventional practices while addressing various complex features, including conflicting design requirements.

Additionally, you will review projects that necessitate innovative investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports for clients, providing technical reviews of these reports.

You will lead technical training initiatives and make informed decisions based on cutting-edge technology issues.
You will also provide leadership in marketing, sales, and business development.
Mentor and supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on projects.
Act as an Authorized Project Reviewer and guide for junior staff.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 8-11 years of relevant experience.
- Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
