Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee our HR functions and contribute to the strategic direction of our organization. This role is pivotal in fostering a productive work environment and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Liaison: Act as the primary HR contact for project sites, providing guidance on internal processes, policies, and compliance.
  • Recruitment and Training: Manage the recruitment process, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with HR staff to ensure clear communication and alignment with established workflows.
  • Department Oversight: Supervise daily HR operations and support the leadership team in executing talent strategies.
  • Employee Support: Provide assistance to HR generalists and management on complex HR issues, including investigations and terminations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop collaborative relationships to promote the company's core values and enhance the employer brand.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about HR trends and best practices within the construction sector.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and corporate policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising HR functions.
  • Familiarity with field personnel in the construction industry.

Preferred:

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Experience with HR software such as Heavy Jobs, Key Style, or Vista.
Communication Skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to analyze complex situations and provide practical solutions.

Physical Demands

This role may require occasional physical activity, including lifting up to 25 pounds and navigating construction environments.

Work Environment

The position involves interaction with construction activities and may expose the employee to varying weather conditions and noise levels.
