Job Overview

RadiFi Federal Credit Union is on the lookout for a dedicated Member Engagement Center Sales Representative to act as a key resource within our MEC Sales division, catering to both new and existing members' account and loan requirements. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of our diverse products and services to effectively promote and cross-sell through a consultative, needs-based sales strategy.

Position Type: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage incoming membership requests through various channels, ensuring a seamless experience for members.
  • Engage in cross-selling initiatives to enhance product and service uptake among members.
  • Follow up diligently with members regarding necessary documentation for account and loan requests, while actively promoting additional services based on individual member needs.
  • Achieve performance metrics related to loan volume, approval ratios, and sales of ancillary products.
  • Ensure compliance with deposit and loan quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, including quality checks of new accounts and loans.
  • Assist members in gathering required documentation to finalize loan applications and account processes.
  • Exemplify RadiFi's commitment to exceptional service and sales standards in every interaction.
  • Maintain a strong grasp of credit reports and consumer lending documentation.
  • Process and finalize various loan applications, including consumer loans and credit cards.
  • Participate in training sessions and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of six months to two years in a related role, showcasing success in a sales-oriented environment. Experience in a call center or financial institution is preferred.

Education: A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Skills:

  • Interpersonal Skills: High levels of trust, credibility, and diplomacy are essential, with the ability to engage in sensitive conversations with various stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite with intermediate to advanced capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong listening abilities and consultative sales skills are crucial.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and decision-making skills are required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this role, employees will frequently sit, talk, and hear. They may occasionally stand, walk, and reach. The ability to work at a workstation for extended periods while managing phone communications is necessary. Employees should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and possess various vision capabilities.

Employees must be capable of performing tasks independently or collaboratively, effectively handling multiple priorities while maintaining composure under pressure. The role requires discretion in managing confidential matters.
