We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at ASCEND MINDS. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Windows Server environments in both on-premises and cloud-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Windows Server environments in hybrid settings, ensuring seamless integration with cloud-based services.
  • Provide guidance on disaster recovery and uptime management best practices to ensure infrastructure stability and minimize downtime.
  • Perform regular patching and updates to ensure system security and stability, and oversee backup operations and recovery processes in mission-critical environments.
  • Plan and execute server migrations, including moving workloads from on-premises to the cloud, and provide server-level support and troubleshooting for production applications.
  • Work with security tools such as Tenable to manage vulnerability remediation and experience with tools like SCCM for automated patch management and deployment.
  • Craft disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime and prevent data loss, and work with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs and support application deployment.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience working with Windows Server in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
  • Experience providing guidance on disaster recovery/uptime management best practices for infrastructure stability.
  • Experience performing regular patching and updates to ensure system security and stability.
  • Experience overseeing backup operations and recovery processes in mission-critical environments.
  • Experience planning and executing server migrations, including moving workloads from on-premises to the cloud.
  • Experience providing server-level support and troubleshooting issues for production applications.
  • Experience working with security tools such as Tenable to manage vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience with tools like SCCM for automated patch management and deployment.
  • Experience crafting disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime and prevent data loss.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including understanding OSI layer functionality and network protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft-focused certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking-focused certifications, such as Network CCNA.
