ROLE OF CULINARY SUPERVISOR:

The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for managing daily kitchen operations or designated workstations with professionalism, respect, and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the chef's philosophy and strict adherence to all restaurant protocols. Additionally, the supervisor will mentor and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring that the restaurant's standards for quality and cleanliness are consistently upheld.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Exhibit integrity, honesty, and knowledge that reflect the culture and values of MG-FSLV, LLC, operating as BOURBON STEAK.
  2. Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and attentive, professional service at all times.
  3. Maintain clean and organized workstations that align with the restaurant's philosophy and standards of excellence.
  4. Identify opportunities for improvement within the team and the restaurant, providing constructive solutions.
  5. Operate efficiently within the restaurant environment, demonstrating respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, and initiative.
  6. Fully comprehend all operational programs, procedures, standards, and training initiatives.
  7. Embrace the management's philosophy, demonstrating consistent attention to detail and adherence to restaurant policies.
  8. Represent the restaurant with professionalism through effective communication and collaboration with all partners.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Ability to communicate and understand the primary language(s) used in the restaurant's operational area.
  2. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pastry preparation within a fine dining setting.
  3. Exhibit the positive image and attitude consistent with the restaurant's philosophy.
  4. Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  5. Capability to stand for extended periods (minimum of 8 hours daily).
  6. Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
  7. Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours or more each week.
