Key Responsibilities:- Loading and Unloading Trucks: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Supplying Plant Department Lines: Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
- Building Crates for Shipping: Construct and prepare crates and packaging materials for shipping and storage.
- Emptying Trash Containers: Regularly empty trash and recycling containers to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Yard and Warehouse Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the yard and warehouse areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Willingness to work effectively with limited direction and as part of a team.
- Technical Skills: Provable previous forklift certification and experience, knowledge of basic hand and power tools, and ability to read a tape measure.
- Attendance and Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional overtime.
- Friday: 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, with occasional overtime.
