The Construction Superintendent is a key member of the Caliente Construction team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues, utilizing problem-solving skills and expertise to find creative solutions.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; industry-related college degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least four years of job-specific superintendent experience or comparable construction experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in software applications (MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Vista, Powerproject, etc.); excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted; may require repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers; may require prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing throughout workday.
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel: Willing to travel to various job sites and/or employee recruitment and work locations.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and proof of insurability required when job duties require use of motor vehicle.
  • Confidentiality: Requires exercising discretion in decision making and maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to applicant, employee, and Company proprietary information.
