The SPTS division of KLA specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of wafer processing solutions tailored for the global semiconductor and related sectors. Group/DivisionSPTS offers a comprehensive suite of wafer processing solutions, including market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD, and molecular vapor deposition (MVD), all available with various wafer-handling options suitable for R&D, pilot production, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
SPTS operates globally, with a primary manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, and additional operations in Allentown, Pennsylvania.We maintain a presence in 19 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, providing extensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will collaborate closely with our established Procurement Team, taking the lead in implementing best practice methodologies across all supply chain functions.
Responsibilities will include:- Facilitating key discussions with stakeholders within the organization.
- Driving initiatives aimed at reducing lead times in collaboration with Purchasing and Spares Organizations.
- Conducting problem-solving and troubleshooting through comprehensive data analysis.
- Implementing inventory reduction strategies.
- Managing supplier growth by providing data-driven insights and executing plans.
- Summarizing findings in written reports or presentation formats.
- Contributing to global supply chain initiatives.
- Supporting logistic initiatives and KLA reporting through data analysis.
- Generating SAP reports and creating data packs.
- Interpreting data to support targets for Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Developing a Purchasing/Operations dashboard to monitor key purchasing metrics.
- Assessing market conditions and identifying significant global constraints.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- CIPS Accreditation (optional).
